ABOUT ME

My name is Jabea Msola and I began sewing at the age of 8 years old. KKwaM started when I needed a concept for a fashion show my sewing school was holding. The full name of the line is Kushinda Kwa Maringo which means“Winning With Style” in Kiswahili. KKwaM is a youth Afrikan athletic wear line that I was inspired to create because I had trouble finding Afrikan activewear.  I am a very active person and wanted to have clothes containing Afrikan prints that I could play sports or dance in. At the time I could not find anything suitable made for youth, so I started KKwaM.
